Hikvision Showcases Thermal PTZ Surveillance Technology at Border Security Expo
Hikvision’s vertical business development team recently showcased its thermal PTZ security cameras at the Border Security Expo held Jan. 31 – Feb. 1, 2018 at the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
“Our booth featured a Hikvision bi-spectrum thermal security camera with long-range PTZ that is ideal for border security because it can see thousands of feet in total darkness,” said Tony DeStefano, Hikvision’s business development manager for thermal cameras. “Using the PTZ feature combined with onboard analytics allows for detection of people and vehicles, and improves the ability to track objects at long distances.”
Hikvision’s DS-2TD6135-50/75B2L, available in 50 mm and 75 mm lens options, is an observable thermal and optical bi-spectrum outdoor network PTZ camera featuring a progressive scan CMOS sensor, 32 times optical zoom, and smart features such as line crossing, intrusion and fire detection, and temperature exception. Hikvision also showcased its DS-2P1636Z-D PanoVu series 360° panoramic PTZ camera with WDR (wide dynamic range), 36 times optical zoom, and smart functions such as intrusion detection and line crossing detection.
The Border Security Expo is a leading conference that hosts an exhibit hall, multiple keynote speakers, and various interactive educational panels.
