Hikvision Thermal Surveillance Cameras Deliver Advanced Detection Ability
Thermal imaging sensors in Hikvision thermal surveillance cameras can detect infrared energy, which is emitted from objects such as humans, animals, and vehicles, in total darkness at distances up to several miles away.
“Hikvision thermal security cameras have onboard analytics that enable customization such as temperature measurement that triggers an alarm if temperatures exceed or fall below a certain limit,” said David Stanfield, Hikvision product manager for solutions products. “Other advanced detection capabilities include intelligent video applications such as line crossing and intrusion detection. These cameras can automatically trigger an alert while simultaneously triggering a PTZ camera to zoom in. These features support customized applications in the field that allow our customers to improve real-time analytics.”
Hikvision thermal systems also feature an enhanced algorithm that supports Auto Gain Control (AGC) to adjust the dynamic range of an image, Digital Detail Enhancement (DDE) to ensure images display more details for a region of interest, and 3D Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) to minimize hot pixels, rendering more refined images.
Hikvision thermal security cameras also deliver exceptional environmental adaptability in changing light conditions, total darkness, and difficult weather conditions including rain, fog or snow.
