Hikvision Canada ‘Hall of Fame’ Sponsor for 4th Annual Mission 500 Hockey Classic
Hikvision Canada Inc. is a “Hall of Fame” sponsor for the 4th annual Mission 500 Hockey Classic, an annual fundraiser that supports the Toronto Crime Stoppers’ Youth Program by bringing together security industry professionals to network and play hockey for a good cause. This year’s event will take place on Thurs., Feb. 21, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST at the Canlan Ice Sports complex in Ontario, Canada.
Hikvision’s Canadian business development team will be volunteering at the event. Last year the Hikvision team donated $3,000 to the event and hosted a team of players for the hockey game.
“The Hikvision Canada team is excited to participate in the Mission 500 hockey classic again this year, volunteering our time and sponsoring the event to benefit children in need in our community,” said Lorne Terry, Hikvision Canada sales director.
Clark Northcott, Hikvision Canada distribution sales manager, has been a Mission 500 board member for several years and an active participant in the annual hockey classic.
Mission 500 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis. During 2018, Hikvision employees participated in several volunteer events, including the third annual Mission 500 Hockey Classic, the Security 5K/2K at ISC West, and the Puerto Rico service trip where Hikvision employees helped victims of Hurricane Maria rebuild their homes.
