Hikvision Canada to Showcase PanoVu Multi-Sensor 360° Panoramic Camera, Thermal Surveillance Technology at Vancouver-Hosted Cannabis Trade Show
Hikvision to Highlight Benefits of H.265+ Compression Technology, Cybersecurity Initiatives at Canada Trade Show
Hikvision Canada will showcase PanoVu, Thermal and DarkFighter PTZ surveillance technology in the exhibit hall at the Cannabis Trade Show on July 21-22, 2018 at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada.
The event is an opportunity for Hikvision’s regional team to highlight relevant surveillance technologies for the cannabis vertical market, and to share Hikvision’s expertise with customers. Innovations such as H.265+ compression technology deliver high resolution video and images with lower storage and bandwidth requirements, often leading to significant cost savings for end users. Hikvision’s recent cybersecurity initiatives deliver additional support for integrators and end users.
In booth #123, Hikvision will showcase the 20 MP PanoVu Flexible Multi-Sensor 360° Panoramic camera, which features 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensors and four lenses, H.265+ compression technology, and extended EXIR technology for high quality imagery even in the dark. The Hikvision team will also highlight thermal cameras that excel in complex applications in large areas where lighting improvements may not be practical, and DarkFighter PTZ cameras, which yield excellent image quality even in low light.
Hikvision surveillance cameras deliver reliable, high resolution imagery that integrates with a range of high performance Hikvision NVRs, helping clients to meet regulatory video storage requirements. For example, the state of Colorado requires growers to maintain 40 days of on-site and 40 days of off-site video recordings per camera. Hikvision surveillance systems can facilitate meeting of this requirement, and Hikvision’s iVMS platform provides ease of viewing on smartphones, tablets and PCs.
Hikvision North America recently launched a cybersecurity hotline, a Source Code Transparency Center, and offers resources to partners online via the Cybersecurity Center and online firmware updates.
The Cannabis Trade Show provides a forum for emerging companies and professionals to discover innovative technologies and learn ways to grow their businesses in a newly expanding industry.
