Hikvision Demos Thermal Technology at Louisiana Security Conference
Hikvision showcased its latest technology at the 21st Annual LLSSA (The Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association) Convention, a conference held in Kenner, La. on Nov. 15-16, 2017.
“We highlighted the latest Hikvision technologies including thermal security cameras and new intercom solutions at our booth,” said Greg Dinwiddie, Hikvision sales representative for southern Louisiana. “It was great to connect with integrators and end users, and share solutions for the market.” Hikvision sales engineer Manuel Vallejo taught the CEU course “Thermal Applications and Concepts,” where he guided attendees through a live tutorial to set up a Hikvision thermal camera.
Intercom solutions showcased included Hikvision’s DS-KV8X02-IM IP video door station for video intercom and access control with one-touch calling, time synchronization, batch configuration, remote unlock and remote call answering via app. Also featured was Hikvision’s DS-KH8301-WT video intercom indoor station with a 7-inch color LCD touch screen and 1024x600 resolution.
Other convention highlights included multiple CEU classes, a golf benefit to fund scholarships for children of police and fire officials, and more than 80 vendor booths.
