Hikvision Partners with SGS for Joint Laboratory Collaboration
Hikvision, based in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, announced a joint laboratory collaboration with SGS, a leading global inspection, verification, testing and certification company.
“Together with Hikvision, we will rely on the professional technical team and rich experience to assist Hikvision in product quality improvement, and to further improve product competitiveness in the security marketplace,” said Mr. Laurence Kwan, director for electrical and electronic business at SGS Asia-Pacific in the Hikvision corporate press release. “SGS actively participates in the formulation of global standards and regulations. It has deepened understanding and insight in these aspects and the global market trend development.”
Product quality is of the utmost importance to Hikvision, strictly conducting test processes on all its video surveillance and non-video product lines. The collaboration with SGS is designed to continually improve and optimize Hikvision testing procedures.
