Hikvision’s industry-leading analytics and deep learning technology deliver proactive response capabilities to threats, disasters, and active shooter situations by creating districtwide situational awareness.
“K-12 education is one of our top vertical markets. We developed this tool to provide insights for our partners and customers to leverage in the field, providing budget-conscious solutions that also deliver industry-leading technology to educational institutions,” said Jeremy Howard, Hikvision VP of business development. “This is the first of many Hikvision vertical market tools that will highlight our exceptional technology and value within a core vertical to benefit our partners and end users.”
Hikvision technology enables schools to deploy innovative security technology within budget ensuring funds are focused on education. Additional value of Hikvision solutions includes:
• Access Control Technologies: Hikvision offers a full line of traditional card-based access control technologies as well as advanced “frictionless” access control solutions leveraging state-of-the-art facial recognition terminals and turnstiles. This will ensure only verified, authorized students and staff gain entrance to the campus facilities.
• TurboHD TVI Solutions: Hikvision developed its TurboHD TVI solution, which saves money by using the existing coaxial cable infrastructure to transmit high definition video. This allows schools to acquire high quality HD security equipment at fraction of the cost of IP video systems.
• Architect & Engineer (A&E) Design Support: Proper design typically accounts for 10 to 15 percent of the overall security budget for any given project. Hikvision’s team of design specialists and application engineers are available to help schools with system design and A&E specifications, further reducing costs associated with design requirements.
