Hikvision Showcases Intelligent Surveillance Solutions at Secutech Thailand 2017
Hikvision, based in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, showcased its video surveillance solutions at Secutech Thailand, a conference held Nov. 16-18, 2017 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC).
With the theme of “Smart City, Smart Innovation,” Hikvision showcased its deep learning technology, end-to-end solutions for smart cities, and intelligent traffic systems. A featured product was Hikvision’s dual-lens facial recognition DeepinView camera with deep learning technology built-in. It accurately captures detailed facial images and can trigger a post event alarm.
Other highlighted products included Hikvision’s DarkFighterX low light technology and Hikvision’s 24MP PanoVu panoramic camera with 360° monitoring and 36 times optical zoom, designed for complex surveillance in applications such as stadiums, cities, airports and parking lots.
Deep learning is also driving innovation in the North America market. “Our goal is to lead the way with deep learning products that provide end-users with the most reliable and accurate video content analysis. Hikvision’s new DeepinView security camera series and DeepinMind NVR series of products apply deep learning algorithms to deliver some of the most accurate video analytics in the market today,” said Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA Inc. and Hikvision Canada Inc. in an interview with leading security publications SecurityInfoWatch.com and SD&I.
