Hikvision Showcases Video Surveillance Technology at IACP 2017

Hikvision showcased its new and emerging video surveillance technologies last week at the IACP 2017 Annual Conference and Exposition in Philadelphia on Oct. 22-24, 2017.
“Hikvision showcased its soon to be released body cameras and existing security technologies that can benefit police departments across North America,” said Hikvision Mid-Atlantic senior sales manager, Brad Heckelman. Hikvision technology can greatly reduce security concerns and improve surveillance video and image quality for law enforcement, Heckelman added.
The Hikvision sales team displayed video surveillance technologies such as the Hikvision DS-2CD4565F-IZH 6MP Smart IP Outdoor Dome camera, Hikvision’s DS-2CD2642FWD-IZS 4MP WDR Varifocal Bullet Network camera and its DS-9016HQHI-SH TurboHD Tribrid DVR. Heckelman saw additional interest in Hikvision’s PanoVu security camera, DarkFighter technology, tracking PTZ and 360 fisheye technologies, which were showcased on a monitor in the booth.
In an interview with leading security publications SecurityInfoWatch.com and SD&I, Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA, Inc. and Hikvision Canada, Inc. discussed 2018 product releases including a doorbell camera and a body-worn camera, in addition to Hikvision’s commitment to cybersecurity best practices.
IACP 2017 is the annual event of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), featuring dozens of education sessions and bringing together law enforcement professionals and more than 15,000 safety professionals from around the country.
