Hikvision To Sponsor, Exhibit Surveillance Technology at Campus Safety East
Hikvision Will Highlight Deep Learning and Surveillance Technology, Cybersecurity Initiatives
Hikvision is sponsoring, and will highlight deep learning and surveillance technology as well as recent cybersecurity initiatives, at the Campus Safety East conference being held this week from July 18-20, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, Va.
Campus Safety East is one of three conferences hosted by Campus Safety magazine and being held this summer. Each one is a two-day intensive featuring keynotes, networking breakouts, educational and training sessions. The conference caters to administrators, public safety officials, technology directors, risk managers, and security and law enforcement who are interested in security solutions for schools, universities, colleges, healthcare and other campus environments.
The event is an opportunity for Hikvision’s eastern regional team to meet and interact with decision makers, and highlight Hikvision technology solutions that are tailored to meet the needs of K-12, higher education, healthcare, and campus environments.
In the exhibit hall at table #20, Hikvision will showcase PanoVu cameras, which provide panoramic, high resolution video and images with up to 360-degree views, and extended EXIR technology for high quality imagery even in the dark. A monitor in the booth will demonstrate Hikvision’s turnstile functionality and a facial recognition unit will be on display. Hikvision’s turnstile uses deep learning algorithms to perform facial recognition with either terminal-captured or uploaded photos, and allows up to 40 people to pass per minute.
Recent Hikvision cybersecurity initiatives will also be highlighted, which include our online cybersecurity center, a dedicated cybersecurity hotline for partners, and the Source Code Transparency Center. Hikvision also offers firmware updates online, which help to safeguard surveillance equipment from cyber threats, eliminate known vulnerabilities, and improve system performance.
