ISC East 2018 Exceeds Expectations, Attendance Grows by 23 Percent
Hikvision’s ISC East Exhibit Booth Bustled with Customer Meetings and Partner Activity
The Security Industry Association (SIA) reported that ISC East 2018 exceeded expectations and saw a 23 percent growth in attendance compared to 2017.
The event took place in November in New York City, and hosted 85 new companies and almost 1,000 more industry professionals than the previous year.
“It was exciting to see such a robust expo floor and high attendance growth with our New York event this year, all while matching up to our brand theme of Comprehensive Security for a Safer, Connected World,” said the director for ISC Security Events, in the SIA announcement.
Hikvision USA Inc. also saw extensive activity in its exhibit hall booth. The company featured its multi-sensor PanoVu cameras at the event.
In a previous blog about the event, Hikvision sales director Andre Greco said: “This year’s show has more exhibitors in the expo hall than I’ve seen in the last decade, and lots of traffic. We’ve had a steady stream of visitors to our booth since the show opened, and spoken to many new companies offering specialized technology solutions. We’ve also engaged with many partners on the show floor, and had great conversations with Hikvision distribution partners such as Anixter, as well as our technology partner Envysion, a cloud-based video software provider.”
CEO of SIA, Don Erickson, added that “SIA Education@ISC East 2018 was a great success, with hundreds of conference attendees participating in our education sessions, engaging keynotes and hands-on workshops. This year’s sessions highlighted cutting-edge topics like the move to smart cities, convergence in the security industry, the use of artificial intelligence in video analytics and how some legacy connections leave modern access control data vulnerable to hacking.”
