Mission 500 Organizes Fall 2018 Service Trip to Puerto Rico, Seeks Security Industry Volunteers
Mission 500, the charitable organization whose mission is to support children and communities in crisis, is organizing a service trip to Puerto Rico this fall from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, and is seeking security industry volunteers to join, according to a report by Security Sales & Integration (SSI).
“We are excited about the success of the service trip and how it brings together the growing community of security industry professionals who care about helping others,” said Jeff Eichenlaub, director of strategic partnerships for Mission 500, in the article. “More importantly, together we are working to help families whose lives have changed because of the drastic impact of Hurricane Maria that devastated the island of Puerto Rico last year.”
Hikvision has been an active participant with Mission 500, sponsoring the recent Toronto Hockey Classic in February, and participating in and raising money for the Mission 500 Security 5/2K at ISC West 2018.
Mission 500 has set a goal to fundraise $10,000 to help two Puerto Rican families with home renovations. The nonprofit is asking organizations to send a team of people to help with the rebuilding effort.
The deadline to register is August 1, 2018. For more information about the trip, and to read the whole article, click here.
