More than 150 attend Hikvision Cybersecurity Roadshow in Toronto
More than 150 integrators, end users, A&Es and other interested parties came to the Living Arts Centre Mississauga in Toronto on Dec. 5 to participate in Hikvision Canada's "Cybersecurity Myths and Facts: Presented by Hikvision," a road show on cybersecurity best practices that is taking place this week in key locations across Canada.
Presented by Chuck Davis, Hikvision’s director of cybersecurity for North America, each road show event consists of a two-hour interactive education session about cybersecurity, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, myths about the video surveillance industry, and best practices to mitigate those threats and vulnerabilities.
There are two more opportunities to participate in the event. Below are the locations. Attendance is free, but space is limited, so early registration is recommended. Interested parties can register here for one or more of the sessions below:
Calgary: Wednesday, Dec. 6, Cardel Theatre
Vancouver: Friday, Dec. 8, Shadbolt Centre of the Arts Burnaby
Davis, together with Hikvision Security Lab at Hikvision headquarters, will lead the cybersecurity program for Hikvision North America, overseeing all internal and external cybersecurity initiatives and programs in the region.
