SIA Honors Night Recognizes Longtime Industry Member, Pat Comunale, with George R. Lippert Memorial Award at ISC East 2018

Hikvision North America President Engages with Award Recipient at SIA Honors Night
The Security Industry Association (SIA) honored longtime security industry member and former president of Tri-Ed/Anixter, Pat Comunale, with the George R. Lippert Memorial Award at SIA Honors Night, which took place Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at Current at Chelsea Piers in New York City during ISC East.
Comunale, formerly a member of the SIA board of directors, is currently retired. SIA nominators praised him for his active participation in and dedication to the security industry throughout his career.
“SIA is pleased to honor Pat Comunale for his many valuable contributions to the security industry through his work at ADI, Tri-Ed and Anixter. He actively promoted technology and vendor-to-distributor partnerships. Pat’s leadership with systems integrators and dealers of all sizes aided their ability to build strong businesses that delivered important security solutions to end users globally,” said SIA chairman of the board, Scott Schafer, in the SIA award announcement.
“I’m extremely honored to be receiving this year’s Lippert Award. As I look at past winners, I feel privileged to be in their company,” said Comunale, in the SIA announcement.
Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA Inc., and Hikvision Canada Inc., and the VP of Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., engaged with Comunale during SIA Honors Night. Tri-Ed/Anixter, where Comunale had been president, is a Hikvision distribution partner.
Hikvision showcased its PanoVu multi-sensor cameras, access control, and intercom solutions in the ISC East exhibit hall at Booth #324. The company also hosted the educational training session, "PanoVu Overview: Innovative Systems for Retail, Education, Hospitality and more." The Hikvision booth was bustling with customers and partner meetings, with a steady stream of visitors during the ISC East show.
