SIA Unveils Details for its 2019 Cyber: Secured Forum in Dallas
The Security Industry Association (SIA) announced details for its 2019 Cyber: Secured Forum, the 2nd annual cybersecurity educational summit, to be held July 29-31, 2019, at the Westin Dallas Park Central in Dallas.
The 2019 conference “will explore the ramifications of cybercrime, the strategies for cyber hardening and new technologies and tools designed to improve the security of solutions and systems, and provide a framework for developing new business opportunities,” according to the SIA announcement.
“Providing compelling and practical cyber and data privacy educational content is a top priority for SIA,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “Our continued collaboration with PSA and ISC Events furthers this goal by presenting new and impactful insights that attendees may leverage to improve their risk management, understand the threat landscape and enhance their cybersecurity strategies.”
The event will include a welcome reception as well as multiple educational sessions on the hacker’s perspective, Internet of Things, right-sizing cybersecurity strategy and more. Keynote presentations will be given by representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The event is co-hosted by the SIA, the International Security Conference and Exposition Events (ISC Security Events), and PSA Security Network.
Hikvision was a Bronze Sponsor of the inaugural Cyber: Secured Forum held in June of 2018. Hikvision is a proud member of the SIA and PSA Security Network.
