Hikvision to Showcase Surveillance Technology at San Jose-Hosted Cannabis Business Summit & Expo
Hikvision to Highlight Benefits of H.265+ Compression Technology, Cybersecurity Initiatives at Cannabis Trade Show
Hikvision will showcase its surveillance technology, and highlight H.265+ compression technology and cybersecurity initiatives, at the 5th Annual Cannabis Business Summit & Expo being held at the San Jose Convention Center from July 25–27 in San Jose, Calif.
Hosted by the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), the trade show provides Hikvision the opportunity to display its surveillance technology expertise in this industry vertical to end users and decision makers. Hikvision innovations such as H.265+ compression technology are providing high resolution video and imagery using less storage space and bandwidth, which delivers high-quality surveillance systems at an affordable price for end users. Hikvision will also highlight cybersecurity initiatives, including its cybersecurity hotline, a Source Code Transparency Center, and online resources for partner support such as the Cybersecurity Center and firmware updates.
At booth #1619, the Hikvision team will showcase the 20 MP PanoVu Flexible Multi-Sensor 360° Panoramic camera, which features 1/2.7" progressive scan CMOS sensors and four lenses, H.265+ compression technology, and extended EXIR technology. Thermal camera technology will also be featured, which can detect infrared energy emitted from objects such as humans, animals, and vehicles, at distances up to several miles away, and offers unique applications such as early warning for heat detection before a fire breaks out.
Hikvision surveillance systems deliver impeccable visual quality, and paired with Hikvision DVRs and NVRs can facilitate meeting of regulatory video storage requirements in the cannabis industry. Hikvision’s iVMS platform allows for flexibility and easy remote viewing on smartphones, tablets and PCs.
