Hikvision Launches IP Video Intercom Apartment Door Station with 120-Degree Angle of View HD Surveillance Camera
IP Video Intercom Helps Reduce Security Concerns, Improve Visibility
Hikvision North America has launched its IP Video Intercom Apartment Door Station with an HD surveillance camera featuring a 120-degree angle of view and access control features, providing excellent performance and visibility to help reduce security concerns for apartment buildings and other commercial properties.
The Hikvision DS-K3002-VM Apartment Door Station IP video intercom system has a 14-button keypad panel with touch design. Hikvision NVR integration allows for alarm notifications, and event recordings and playback using the local monitor interface. IP intercom simplifies installation by eliminating many cabling requirements associated with analog, and effectively using an Internet connection to deliver crisp video and images.
Hardware features of the door station include a 3.5-inch color LCD screen, an HD camera with a 120-degree angle of view, video brightness detection, visible supplemental lighting during calls, and wide dynamic range that allows users to see clearly. Up to 2,500 access cards can be stored in the system.
Other features include H.264 video compression, built-in Mifare card reader, ability to call up to 999 tenants over an IP network, and call answering and door unlock capability using the indoor station or the Hik-Connect smartphone app. The product also supports external card readers over Wiegand or RS-485 and supports secure modules over RS-485.
