New Comparitech Study Explores Cybersecurity of 60 Countries, Found Discrepancies Across Malware and Cyber Legislation
Hikvision Provides Top 5 Tips to Prevent Malware Attack
A new study by research firm Comparitech studied 60 countries and found large discrepancies across malware and cyber legislation, according to an article in Security magazine.
The study used seven criteria to evaluate cybersecurity levels including the percentage of mobile devices and computers infected with malware, the number of financial malware attacks, and cyber legislation.
From the article: “According to the study, Algeria is the least cybersecure country in the world. It was the highest-ranking country for lack of legislation and computer malware rates, and also received a high score in the categories for mobile malware and preparation for cyberattacks. Other high-ranking countries were Indonesia, Vietnam, Tanzania, and Uzbekistan.”
The countries with the highest level of cybersecurity included the U.S., France, Canada, Denmark, and Japan which took the lead.
