Hikvision to Showcase Hospitality and Restaurant-Vertical Security Technology at the Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo
Hikvision will showcase its hospitality and restaurant-focused security technology at the 25th annual Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo, taking place July 10-11, 2019 at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu.
Thousands are expected to attend the event, which connects industry buyers with suppliers of products and services for key Hawaiian economic sectors. The Hawaii hospitality market is valued at more than $18 billion per year, and includes a combined 70,000 hotel rooms, resort condominiums and time share units, as well as more than 6,000 foodservice venues, according to the expo website.
In booth #348 in the expo hall, the Hikvision team will showcase its breadth of security solutions designed to handle the needs of the hotel, hospitality and foodservice industries. Hikvision security cameras can deliver high resolution video and imagery, covering interiors such as hallways, conference rooms, and meeting rooms, as well as exterior exits and parking areas.
Hikvision’s fully scalable centralized management software system (CMS), HikCentral, provides a robust platform for central management of single or multiple locations. HikCentral supports cutting-edge analytics such as human and vehicle detection, people counting, behavior detection, and point-of-sale integration, while meeting the needs of budget-conscious buyers.
The team will exhibit Hikvision’s award-winning DS-2TD1217-x/V1 Thermal-Optical DeepinView Network Turret camera at the booth. It is a low-cost, small, thermal-optical (160×120, 1920×1080 resolution) turret camera system, available with 2/3/6 mm thermal lens, including deep learning and GPU-powered video content analysis for efficient perimeter defense, fire prevention, and predictive maintenance with best-in-class image quality at half the price of the Hikvision predecessor.
The Hikvision DS-KIS701 Two-Wire IP Video Intercom Bundle will also be featured. It includes one indoor station, one outdoor station, and one video/audio distributor. The DS-KH8340-TCE2 two-wire IP indoor station with 7-inch touch screen supports hands-free communication with door and master stations, and features noise suppression and echo cancellation. One indoor station can support five indoor extensions. The DS-KV8103-IME2 two-wire digital villa outdoor station is a 2 MP HD Colorful 155° Fish-Eye that features a CMOS low illumination color camera, which enables security applications in low-light conditions. It features video intercom and access control functions. Remote answer call and unlock features are available via the Hik-Connect smartphone App.
The DeepinView iDS-2CD8426GO/F-I dual-lens face recognition camera equipped featuring a deep learning algorithm and alarm triggering notifications will be highlighted. The camera also supports five video streams and hosts IR range up to 30 ft. (10 m).
Hikvision smart analytics provide useful business intelligence for improved decision making and operational efficiency. Tools such as queue monitoring can improve customer experience and wait times, while highly-accurate people counting cameras can support sales conversion and staffing metrics during peak service hours.
