Hikvision to Feature Retail Analytics, Thermal-Optical DeepinView Thermal Cameras and HikCentral at 40th Annual RLPSA Conference
Hikvision will feature its loss prevention and retail-focused security solutions at the upcoming 40th annual RLPSA (Restaurant Loss Prevention and Security Association) conference, taking place August 4-7, 2019 at the Renaissance hotel in Nashville.
Hikvision offers a wide-range of retail analytics such as queue monitoring to meet customer service expectations, people counting cameras for sales conversion and staffing metrics during peak service hours, and heat mapping to identify high traffic areas for marketing optimization. These analytics, coupled with point-of-sale integration, marry video footage with register exception-reporting to provide a robust set of useful analytics for full-service and quick-service restaurants.
In booth #329 in the exhibit hall, the Hikvision team will display the DS-2CD7126G0/L-IZS Indoor Varifocal Queue Detection Dome Camera, which provides high definition output and includes deep learning technology for queue detection and video analysis to manage queues for wait and dwell times. The camera provides statistics on the number of people queueing up, as well as the wait times for each line. Reports are generated and can be used to increase queue efficiency. This camera also offers H.265+ video compression and supports DarkFighter and 140dB LightFighter technology.
The Hikvision DS-2TD1217-x/V1 Thermal-Optical DeepinView Network Turret Camera will also be showcased in the exhibit booth. This Thermal-Optical DeepinView thermal camera comes equipped with highly sensitive thermal and optical sensors and a graphical processing unit (GPU) to run the video content analytics for features such as: line crossing detecting, intrusion detection, region entrance/exit with vehicle filtering, temperature exception, early warning fire prevention, advanced fire detection, and cigarette smoking detection.
Hikvision’s centralized management system (CMS), HikCentral, enables management of a single restaurant or multiple locations from a centralized software system, accessible via desktop or smart device anywhere you have an Internet connection. A fully scalable system, HikCentral provides long-term sustainability and supports management of cutting-edge analytics such as vehicle detection, people counting, and point-of-sale integration. This robust platform meets the needs of budget-conscious retailers.
