Hikvision Canada to Showcase Thermal, License Plate Recognition and New NVR GUI 4.0 at Security Canada Alberta
Hikvision Canada Inc. is a proud sponsor of this year’s Security Canada Alberta, and will showcase thermal, license plate recognition (LPR) and NVR GUI 4.0 technologies on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the River Cree Entertainment Centre.
In the exhibit hall, Hikvision will highlight innovative solutions including license plate recognition, which aids in capturing detailed information of vehicles entering and exiting parking lots. Also featured will be Hikvision’s thermal solutions, which include onboard camera analytics that enable customization such as theft or intruder detection, heat and fire detection, and software that enables the combination of a thermal camera with a PTZ camera to track an object for long distances.
Technology enhancements to the Hikvision graphic user interface (GUI) 4.0, which was introduced in North America earlier this year, delivers improvements to Hikvision NVR products including better design, user-friendly functionality and enhanced intelligent applications. Hikvision’s NVR 4.0 technology is available for these models: the I Series NVR, I Series Super NVR, and the DeepinMind series NVR. Upgrades are required for firmware, but not for hardware.
Security Canada Alberta is an annual conference and expo that features an exhibit hall, Manufacturers’ Training Sessions (MTS) on topics such as deep learning, and a closing cocktail reception.
